Add topic to favorites
I am trying to find where I can send a trackback link to someone from my post. I created a post that about another post that has a trackback link. I would like to send my post to that trackback link, but I am unable to find where I can enable that… I did find:
Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article.
Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks.)
Allow people to post comments on new articles
And they are all checked, is that all I need? what if the blog that I liked to has a track back link does mine look for those and sent them? How does it work since there isn’t a place to paste the trackback link at the bottom of my post that I am creating.
This is new to me, I found a tutorial for wordpress here: http://richnicheblogging.com/members/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=72&Itemid=56 on how to do it but I do not have the trackback link area that they have at the bottom of their post.

The tutorial is not for free hosted wordpress.com blogs. See the wordpress.com support documentation please.

Will you also post an active link to the blog in question starting with http:// when you post to this forum please?

That way we can be sure we are not communicating with a wordpress.ORG blogger, who is posting to the wrong support forum because they did not read the sticky post at the head of the forum before creating a thread. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

I have read the tutorials you listed above but I am unable to find the Send Trackbacks module on my post editing page, is there something I need to enable to get that to show up?

The freelyeducate blog is not a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM. We can’t help with it here. http://wordpress/org/support is where you have to post for support.

On your wordpress.com blog look below the editor box — look hard and you will find the trackback module.

I don’t need help with the freelyeducate blog I don’t think… I just want to trackback to it using the link they have at the bottom of the post I want to trackback to.

All I have where I edit my posts:
Editor Box
Writing Helper
Likes and Shares

That is what I am trying to figure out, why it isn’t listed like yours above.
