Sending a post by email

How do I send the first part of a new post and a link back to my blog?
The first paragraph or sentence appears in the email and then the reader must click “read more . . .” which takes them to my blog.

Hi there,
Are you talking about your followers? You can invite people to follow your blog through this guide. When they follow you, you can set it up so that whenever you publish a post, your followers will receive a short snippet of your post with a link back to the original post.
You can set this up by going to Settings > Reading in your Dashboard. Next to “For each article in a feed, show” please select Summary. Make sure to click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page and you should be set!
