Sending Emails to Subscribers When Post is Updated

    My blog posts are ever-changing due to content I receive from contributors. How can I send emails to all subscribers when I’ve published an update to a post? Sometimes it takes a few tries to get my posts perfect, so I don’t want to send an update every time I correct/change something; I just want to send emails regarding updated, published posts. Hope that makes sense.

    This cannot be done at wordpress.com, and many people can get seriously irritated when they get multiple email notifications on the same post because a link or image was added, or a sentence was edited, etc.

    I’ve unsubscribed from sites because of this and I know several others who have also.

    Yes, and that’s exactly what I said I didn’t want to happen. My followers want to know when a post is updated, so I guess I’ll have to send the emails on my own.
