Sending invitations to users

I have sent invitations to the people I want on my blog. None of them have gotten the invitation. I filled the information out using their email addresses as instructed on the “New User” page. I have resent the invitations to them where it says “resend”. Still no one has gotten it. Is there something I am missing?

I am having the same problem. Trying to invite VIEWERS, AUTHORS and one EDITOR. Don’t want to go “live” till we’re all set up. No one receiving email invitation.

It often goes to the spam folder of the email, since it’s automated. Tell them to check there. As well, often people are checking the wrong email address, so tell them which address you sent it to.
It might be easier to have them register an account (not a blog) at WordPress.com and then invite them by unique username.

Spam and Junk folders had both been checked. And now checked again. I will see if I can get their wordpress usernames from them.

Please post the wp.com usernames of those you sent invitations to here. If they do not have wp.com username accounts then post the email addresses you sent the invitations to. The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them.

I clicked on “resend” on the invitations a few minutes ago. I know of one person who has now received the invitation email. The problem seems to have been resolved. Thank you.
