sending posts by email
-
I read through the info on ‘post by email’ but still don’t understand how to send the email to all my friends with the link to my blog (or each post)?
I used the ‘secret email’ which sent the link to my blog to me. However, am I supposed to forward this to all the friends that I want to see my blog posts?Thank you,

Hi there,
The Post by Email feature is a way for you to create posts. So, instead of logging into WordPress.com and clicking on My Site ->Posts ->Add to create a post, you write the post in your email client, send to the secret address, and it is posted on your site. It is not a way to send posts to your friends.
Emails of new posts are only sent out to people if they sign up for them. You can’t send new post emails to people unless they’ve said they want it. But you can invite them to sign up. You do that under My Site ->People ->Add. Select the Follower option, and add the email addresses of the people you want to invite. You can also include a custom message.
You can only invite 10 at a time, and they will need to accept the invitation before they’ll receive updates on your site, but they don’t need to create WordPress.com accounts to do so.
