Sendlane Plugin not Installing Correctly.

  • Unknown's avatar

An issue arises when I go to install the Sendlane WooCommerce Plugin in WordPress. Despite following the usual procedure of selecting ‘Upload Plugin’ and then uploading the zip file from my computer, it proceeds to add the zip file to my media folder (where pictures are) rather than add it as an available plugin. I contacted Sendlane support and they said they were unable to assist with ‘backend’ issues. To extend the issue further, when I go to upload the applet now, selecting Install sends WordPress into an infinite loading loop (as if I have bad connection, but I am connected to ethernet and all other pages load fast/correctly). Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi @lilymoorefarm, that sounds tricky! We don’t have access to your server though — these forums are for the free sites using our managed hosting service, which can be quite different from running your own WordPress installation at another host.

If you get the same result when uploading other plugins, it could be something wrong with your installation, and you’ll want to ask about it in the correct forum. Otherwise I’d check back in again with Sendlane.

Here’s a link to the correct forums for self-managed sites:
