"Sent to" in Past Invitations on the Invite New Users to Your Private Blog page
-
The Past Invitations list on the Invite New Users to Your Private Blog page shows email addresses and usernames where invitations to join the Blog have been sent. We send invitations to email addresses since most of our users do not already have WordPress usernames. On each line of “waiting” invitations it shows the email address where we sent the invite. However, once the invitation is accepted and they have created a username, the “accepted” invitation row shows their WordPress Username and “sent to xxx” where xxx is simply a duplicate of their new username. Shouldn’t the xxx be the email address we sent the invitation to rather than a duplicate of the username already shown? I thought it used to. It’s not helpful otherwise.

Hello there! Once your invited users accept their invitation to join your blog, and create a WordPress.com account, we protect their anonymity. When they create an account, they have the ability to create a public profile if they want their email addresses, or real names, seen. When you click on their user name, their preferred settings are seen on their Gravatar page. For instance, mine is here:

You can request that your newly invited users create a public profile in your invitation message, but it’s really up to them. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but we can’t release that information otherwise. If you need a running list of your user’s email addresses, you can ask them to fill out a contact form:
en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/Please let me know if I can answer any other questions about this. Thanks much!
