SEO and Text displayed on search

  I have a blog,

  and when it comes up in a search it has good SEO but I can’t customise the text that appears due to it being a blog in wordpress.com

  Is it possible to customise the text appearance in google searches ??

  Will an upgrade to CSS fix it ? Or do I need to use .org ?

  Any help would be much appreciated

  Yes, if you know what you’re doing a .org version of the software will help you control what turns up in google. The tradeoff is that sites on custom domains like a .org install have less SEO than sites on huge hosts like WordPress.com, so your rankings will go down but they will display the text you want.
