SEO for Table in a Post vs. Inserted PDF document with Scribd
-
I am working on class practice problems, a series of math exercises for correcting and un-correcting a compass for navigation.
The first time I did this was with a table, lot of work and (48 problems, 5 numbers per problem – both questions & answers) and I am providing a printer friendly PDF version also. There are headers for the problems that are very specific to Charting problems.
If I insert the PDF document with something like Scribd, will that search any different that having the table in the Post?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you insert the PDF via Scribd, Google won’t read anything inside the document; it will just be a piece of media with the title as the only metadata. I suggest you do BOTH, actually.

Ouch!!! 480 numbers in 4 tables – but a zero search for that would suck big time.
Last time I did a Table then had the PDF as a link for download: http://captnmike.com/2011/11/13/tvmdc-%E2%80%93-practice-%E2%80%93-correcting-and-un-correcting-the-compass/
I can copy the html for the table so it will not be as painful as the last time. I am making twice the number of questions.
Thanks much for the help.
One upside to just having a link to the PDF document is that a secured document can be used, Scribd will not allow PDF’s to be secured from changes.
