SEO &&meta tag for description

    I won’t try to have my page be on 1st page of google for every query that is relevant to its content.

    What I want is my blog, to appear, if the query is “george samaras dit”, which is my name and uni. I did the verification for google and added also the url. I also have my name and uni in strong tags.

    What else I could possibly do?

    the meta tags go to the head as far as I am concerned, but wordpress won’t less us edit the head (!!) :/

    You could wait. It can take up to seven weeks for Google to index blogs.

    Search engines haven’t used meta-tags in a couple of years.
