SEO on Free Version

    Hi, I have the free version and know that the WordPress SEO functionality is only available for the business version, but I have been trying to manually add meta tags & keywords to the code. However, after I save, my tags disappear. Is this because WordPress doesn’t even allow you to add manual meta tags/keywords if you have the free version or am I doing something wrong?

    This is the format of the tags I’ve been trying to add:
