SEO on wordpress site

  Hello, I have a WordPress site (free theme ‘Eighties’). I’d like to add SEO but I can’t find it in my theme. Is it not included in ‘Eighties’?
  What do I have to do in order to be able to do SEO? Install a plugin? Buy a premium account?

  Hey,
  Sorry no one has offered anything in response to your question, but I can take a stab at it, though not employed by WordPress.com. You cannot make extra SEO efforts using WordPress.com, because plug-ins are not available, and Google Analytics does not work with WP.com. You sort of have to rely on their genius, in the theme design area, etc.

  You should read all the articles on WP.com, re- SEO matters, too.

  SEO is automatically built into all WordPress.com sites. So you don’t need any plugin or any upgrade to make your site search engine friendly. All the heavy-lifting is done by WordPress.com.
