Separate archives for each category

I have three categories of posts and would like to create an archive on the home page for each one of them – separately.
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Stephanie,
I think a Categories Widget is exactly what you need. Have you taken a look at it? Here’s a support guide on adding that:

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Thank you. I did and included it on my sidebar. I had wondered if I could separate them by months but I think this will work fine. Thanks again.

Unfortunately it wouldn’t be possible to separate them into months within the Categories Widget. However, you can order all your posts by month using the Archives Widget.
Another possibility (albeit time consuming) would be to add a Text Widget instead and write out all the posts manually by category and month and link to the posts. This would be the only way to get both – categorically and monthly. And all new posts would have to be manually entered the same way unfortunately. But, if you really want it that is an option!
Cheers!

Thanks, I did both. The problem with the archives is that I have three distinct categories: Bible studies, devotionals and a blog. It mixes them all together, but I think it will be OK. I have written them all out (for the Bible studies and devotionals) in a greeting post in each category so that readers should know what is there.
I do have another question. While putting new posts on my blog, I lost the “paste as word” button on my toolbar. Could you tell me how to put it back? Since then, I have had to put my word documents into rich text and using the “paste as text” but it doesn’t work as well and is more time consuming. Thanks!!

HI Stephanie,
There is a Paste as Text button in the Visual Editor. You can use that to use Word cleanly. Here’s more information on this here:
Cheers!
