Separate blog page within a website.

    Hi.
I want to set up a blog page within my website which will appear under the “News” tab. My problem is that when I go to ‘Settings>Reading’ my front, static page does not appear in the list of pages.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

    Hi
When i open your site in browsers other than the one i use for WordPress, your home page is always the first one i see. The news page is there waiting for you to add content.

In the settings in wp-admin, as well as in the my sites, i see the same thing – the main page is not there in the list. It might be that WordPress is asking if you want a page other than your main page to be the static page, but that’s a guess, and anyone with the knowings of if this is the case are more than welcome to chime in here.

    Hi Dave
Thank you for your input. I realised after I posted this question on here that I maybe should have used the WordPress.com Support instead- which I have now done. They got me to change my “News” to a ‘Page’ and not a ‘Post’ in the Primary Menu and then, in Customise, direct the Posts to my News. Hope that makes sense?!
    Thanks again.
