separate blog pages with different sidebars WITHOUT plugins
-
hi everyone,
i have created 2 separate blog pages for my 2 main blog categories but i would like to have different sidebars for the 2 different “blogs.”
i have WP Premium and don’t want to upgrade to Business to get plugins. I’m also WordPress.com not WordPress.org.
Does anyone have a way to have 2 blog pages on the same site with different sidebars (or no sidebar on one page) WITHOUT having to use a plugin?
My website is http://www.museumgirlknitz.com and my blogs are blog and breckinridge diaries.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Just for clarification: What you are referring to as two separate “blog pages” are, in WordPress.com lingo, category pages.
You may determine where a widget does or doesn’t display with the visibility settings in each widget. See the Widget Visibility section of the Widgets support page. The widget visibility settings allow you to, for example, display a widget only on a specific category page, or to not display it only on a specific category page.

Yes, 2 different category pages is how I have it set up now.
Great! I’ll check my Widget Visibility.
Thanks,
