Separate Blogs
-
I have three blogs under one username and I would like to create three separate accounts. I tried it with one account and it would not allow me to access the new account with the new email.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey Lady Cheetah!
You can do this, but you will have to make sure you log out of one account, before logging in with another email address. If your browser isn’t allowing you to do this, you may have to clear you cache and cookies before you log in:
Many folks with multiple accounts will use different browsers with each account. That way, your browser isn’t caching your log in information, making it difficult to access other accounts.
Before you try any of this, you will first want to make sure that you confirmed your new account via email.
Let me know how it all goes. All the best to you. Thanks!

Hi Thatrobyn,
I was successful in obtaining a separate account for one blog but not the other.
All three blogs have separate emails now but I am not receiving any confirmations sent to the new email accounts.
Also, why are all three blogs showing under the first blog created (Life in the Concrete Jungle) if I am trying to separate them?
-
Hiya!
Could you tell me the names of the three WordPress.com sites, and I can take a look at them all?
Thanks much :)
-
Thank you for the quick follow up!
The sites are:
Lifeintheconcretejungle
Straitupword
4cminimalist -
Hi there!
Ok, so here’s what my research shows:
Lifeintheconcretejungle – registered to ladycheetah7
straitupword — registered to ladycheetah7
4cminimalist — there is no site with this nameThe first two sites have been registered with the same user name. They are not listed under separate email addresses. You mentioned that you thought they had separate accounts. What was the account name?
Have you created three separate user accounts yet? If you want three separate administrative email addresses for each site, you need those separate accounts.
So, there’s a bit of confusion :) To straighten it out, tell me exactly what you want to accomplish. As I understand it so far:
You want three separate WordPress.com accounts, each attached to a separate WordPress.com site. You will have to log in separately every time you want to access these accounts/sites. None of the websites should look as if they belong to the same user. Is this correct?
Please let me know, and we can move forward.
Thanks!

You are correct in your assessment. I want three separate accounts with three user names.
The last account I started yesterday so perhaps it is not showing but I can log in with a separate user name. The user name is theminimalist.
-
Hello.
The user name is theminimalist.
This WordPress.com user name belongs to someone who registered in 2005.
Is the spelling correct?
-
That is correct. I log in with 4cminimalist@gmail dot com but the user id shows theminimalist
-
-
Hi there,
I apologize. The administrator name shows theminimalist
The user name is actually the4cminimalist. I see you now :)
The site connected with this account is the4cminimalist.wordpress.com. That site has the custom domain, 4cminimalist.com.
You should be able to log out of WordPress.com, then log back into your account, the4cminimalist, and see your site http://4cminimalist.com/. Is that correct?
You have listed both the4cminimalist and ladycheetah7 as administrators of that site. Would you like ladycheetah7 to be removed from that site, so it’s listed solely under the4cminimalist?
Let me know, and then we can move onto the third site. Thanks!

Okay.
Under ladycheetah7 straitupword1.wordpress.com. is still showing listed as an administrator. I need this one removed so it won’t show listed as ladycheetah7.
Thanks!
-
All set! I’ve removed ladycheetah7. Your site straitupword1.wordpress.com now has one user: straitupword1.
I hope this helps! Thanks :)

Aw shucks :) Thanks. That makes me feel great.
It was a pleasure helping out! Best of luck with the three sites and three accounts! Take care.
