Separate my web domain from my blog.
-
I don’t want my blog to re-direct to my web domain (truthdaemon.wordpress.com to truthdaemon.com) how do I make the web domain independent?
-
If you want I can move the domain to a different blog. Therefore you first need to create a new blog at http://wordpress.com/signup . Or do you want to point the domain to a self-hosted site (not hosted on WordPress.com) ?
-
You are saying I have to put the url under a different hosting service to break the re-direction? Please disregard the second question I just posted privately on this. Close the call if you wish.

No, this is just optional.
Because truthdaemon.wordpress.com is the only blog you have under your account, the domain truthdaemon.com redirects to there, and vice versa. If you want you can create another blog at http://wordpress.com/signup so the domain can be redirected to it.

Maybe I’m too green at this… I don’t want truthdaemon.com to re-direct ANYWHERE. The wordpress blogs have limitations as blogs, right? truthdaemon.com is not a blog, right?
-
truthdaemon.com is the domain your registered at. The domain is the just name people go to in order to visit your blog or site. Therefore it needs to be redirected to a blog or site to make it work.
Currently it redirects to: http://truthdaemon.wordpress.com/ . You won’t see that because http://truthdaemon.com covers the address.
If you want to use WordPress.com to create a website instead of a blog, read the instructions in this guide:

Before I created truthdaemon.com, ANYONE could have seen my blog just by going to truthdaemon.wordpress.com. Submitting to search engines would have taken care of pointing people at the blog. There was no reason to point truthdaemon.com at it, though I get the rationale.
I wanted the two sites to be separate, a blog at truthdaemon.wordpress.com, a site at truthdaemon.com. You’re saying no way under wordpress.com only. I do understand that would require more resources, hence the need to shift the ‘site’ to another ISP. Ok then… At some point I’ll do that… Right now I’ll work on the blog.

I mentioned it being optional, it’s not required.
If you want truthdaemon.wordpress.com and truthdaemon.com to be separate you’ll need to register a new blog at http://wordpress.com/signup . This allows you to create a new blog under your current account in which I can assign the domain (truthdaemon.com) to. This way they are separate.
