Separate text and photo posts: two-columns solution or another way?
-
Dear friends,
I migrated my old blog to wordpress.com (I have the basic account here). In my old blog I only posted textes (with illustrations), in my new blog I also post my Instagram photos automatically. Now I see, I post more photos than textes.
So I had two ideas:
EITHER
I choose a WP theme with two colums, where on the frontpage you see the photos in one and textes in another column. I tried some themes, but it doesn’t seem to work. Are there some special themes for this solution?OR
Is it possible to make the frontpage only with textes, and my automatically posted photos won’t appear on the front page, but only in another page / category. Like: all my photos will be tagged with “Instagram”, and this tag appears only in the page “Instagram”, but not in the front page.Again, I have basic WP account. Should I to upgrade in order to achieve this? Or are there also some possibilities for Basic account?
Thank you in advance,
