Separating Introduction from other posts in blog

I began my wordpress.com blog last month but the current layout is unsatisfactory.
Right now all the blogs appear one after another on one page and in reverse chronological order. So the latest post is on top and my Introduction/first post is stuck right at the bottom.
Ideally I’d like a simple, unchanging Introduction/Homepage in front with links to the other blogs which would be on separate pages. Any advice how to achieve this would be most appreciated. Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The default setting for blogs is to display the newest post at the top so that regular visitors see your latest content first and don’t have to do lots of scrolling down when your site is established with 100s of posts.
You can copy and paste your first post/introduction into a page which can be set as a static page and have your posts on a blog page. Details are found here: https://wordpress.com/theme/karuna
