Separating two sites from one log-in account to two log-in accounts
-
I started a second site on my account. However, because I will be giving access to another person to the second site, I would like to separate my site them into two accounts. How do I do that?

Hey there
However, because I will be giving access to another person to the second site, I would like to separate my site them into two accounts.
Rather than giving the other person your login credentials, I’d encourage you to add them as a user to your site. Here’s how:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/If they don’t have an account yet, and want to create one without creating a site, have them use this link:
https://wordpress.com/start/account/userYou’ll want to be sure you understand user roles, too:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/Hoping this helps! If you still want to create a separate account for that site, you can do that (just use another email) then transfer ownership like so:

I felt it was important to have two separate accounts, but, when I tried to follow WordPress directions, I ended up shutting myself out of the second account and changing my primary site to have the second site’s user name. Is there a WP customer service number I can call directly so that I can explain exactly what I’m seeing on my screen? The support documents are showing me dashboard items that I cannot find.

No, we do not offer phone support.
What you’re describing sounds correct though. If you create a second account here, it will be a fully separate account, meaning you will have to log out of the first account in order to access the second.
