Sequential theme: change colour of sharing buttons
-
Hi there.
I’m having trouble changing the colour of the sharing buttons on my site. I’m using the icon-only button style, which would normally appear multi-coloured (ie: dark blue for Facebook, light blue for Twitter, red for Google+, etc.) The Sequential theme overrides this, and all the buttons appear a single colour (purple, by default).
I’m quite happy with the single colour, but I’m trying to change it to blue to match my site header. I can’t seem to find the right CSS selector – nothing seems to work.
What’s worse, in the Customizer, the buttons do appear blue. But when I look at the site, they are still purple.
BTW, I swear it wasn’t like this originally. I’m thinking maybe the theme was updated, and something broke (?)
Any help appreciated. Cheers.

I did it!
Would you know it? I spent hours trying to solve this yesterday. As soon as I post a question in the forum, I tried a different approach, and -bang- figured it out.
In case anyone else stumbles across the same issue, here’s the snippet of custom CSS that fixes it:
.sd-social.sd-social-icon a:before, .hero .sd-social.sd-social-icon .sharing-hidden a:before { background: #1067a8; color: #fff; }(Where #1067a8 is whatever colour you want, in my case blue).
