Sequential theme – tagline not showing
-
I like the theme and set up is going pretty well but tagline not showing.
I’ve obviously filled out Site Title and tagline plus have checked editor header.php
– ‘<h2 class=”site-description”><?php bloginfo( ‘description’ ); ?></h2>’
seems to be OK, but nothing showing at all on site which I’m running as test on wamp.Anyone else had similar problems?
Just to add -have not altered anything to do with header. I’ve also tried removing menu from header – makes no difference – still does not show. Also – do not have search box.
Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

Hi there! In the Sequential theme, you have to enable the tagline to be visible. This can be found in the theme options. There’s a checkbox for “Show Tagline”.

Thank you so much Shawnajroberts. I had completely forgotten about trying the theme box itself and must have overlooked it! Now working perfectly. Your help and speed of reply is much appreciated.
I have the basics of the theme site layout put together plus Buddypress and so now I want to experiment with best interaction between ‘pages’, blog and the social community aspects.
Incidentally, is the Sequential theme one of your allocated specialities?
Once again, thanks.

I’m happy I could help! I actually just set up my personal site with the Sequential theme, so I’m still familiar with all the theme settings. :)
If you need help with the rest of your site, the WordPress.org forums will probably be more helpful, since we don’t have plugins here at WordPress.com:
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do!
