Series of issues around embedding and editing

    Hi there — so in the last few days I’ve had a series of issues crop up with my blog.

    1. I can’t embed YouTube or Spotify links, using the same method that previously worked (the message ‘sorry, we can’t embed that material’ crops up each time I try).

    2. When I try to save changes (or eventually publish) posts, a red bar will appear at the top of the screen saying ‘sorry you are not allowed to edit this post’. I’m the only admin this blog has.

    Has anyone else encountered these issues and no how to solve them?

    Hi Charlie!

    1. About embedding YouTube or Spotify: can you tell us how you embedded those in the past, and is that different from what we prescribe here?

    Spotify embed options: https://wordpress.com/support/audio/spotify/

    2. On saving changes: that’s really odd! Can we have you first try logging out of your WordPress.com account, clearing your browser’s cache, restarting your browser (make sure it’s up to date), and logging back in?

    My hope is performing step 2 fixes both issues. Let us know how it goes!
