  Could not find the server, it doesn’t work to type in my site http://www.juliehjermstad.com

  Hi Julie,

  You may need to clear your browser’s cache ( Instructions ).

  Your site loaded fine for me. With new domains, it can take a couple of hours for the registration to be seen across the Internet, as registration information for domains are stored and cached throughout the world.

  But last night, the site worked just fine. And all of my friends can see the site, except me. I have cleared my browser’s cache and everything. I can’t even see my site thru my iPhone. But when I put on 3G and don’t use my WiFi, the site works…

  Hi Julie,

  If it fails on multiple devices on the same Internet connection, that leads me to believe the issue is with your Internet connection. In some cases, your home router will cache domain information in an attempt to speed up your browsing or there may be an issue further upstream with your service provider.

  WIth it working last night, but not now, it could be that when the old cached information was refreshed, the information was corrupted, leading to the issue now.

  Can you access WordPress.com itself or other blogs on WordPress.com without a problem?

  Yes, I can log in to my profile, and also visit other wordpressblogs.

  Howdy,

  You can try to clear the DNS cache in your Mac (following these instructions from Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5343 ), though the issue is likely stemming from your home network or ISP network.

  That’s a little outside the ballpark of what we can support here, since the site is loading for others and yourself off of your home network. One suggestion is to unplug your home router, waits 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

  If your router was provided by your Internet provider, their support staff may be able to assist you in resolving the trouble.
