Server Error on blog and website
-
Hi,
When I try to go to my blog’s website I get this:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
My blog is connected/installed to my new website and I’m getting the same message when I go to my website. My host says that the issue is fixed on their end but I’m still getting the message. Is this a wordpress issue? Can you help me figure out why I can’t view anything?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, Tiff. Well, it seems like a problem with your host, but they’re telling you everything is okay on their end, so I’m not sure what to tell you.
You should probably take this question to the WordPress.org forums, since your site is self-hosted, and not a WordPress.com site.
For an explanation of the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, see:

Hi there.
I just did a whois check on your website and diyonadime.net isn’t hosted at wordpress.COM. This forum is for all wordpress.COM blogs/sites.According to whois, your site is registered at:
DOMAIN.COM, LLC
Your Name Servers:
Name Server: NS1.IPAGE.COM
Name Server: NS2.IPAGE.COMIf your blog is supposed to be a wordpress.ORG site, I would suggest trying the wordpress.ORG support here.
Good luck!

Thanks guys. This may be the problem. Feeling a little embarrassed for not thoroughly reading the directions from my host:-) But learning experience for a beginner.

I really appreciate all the help. It was actually my host. I knew my site wasn’t hosted with wordpress.com, however my host had a WordPress install feature and it wasn’t working properly but I just received this message from one of the technical specialist: “I have restored the folder ‘wp-includes’ to the root from the backup server which has fixed the issue.” Now I am able to view the blog on my site. I make things look pretty but have to be honest when I say I know little about the back end of things, but I do know that if somethings not in the right place it won’t work right, and apparently something was in the wrong place. Thanks again!
