Server Error Uploading an Image

  Hi, I recently downloaded and installed 2.7 on a fresh website with the MimboPro2 theme. I just tried uploading an image and received the following error. Is this a permissions issue or something else? TIA!

  Unable to create directory /home/httpd/vhosts/optimizationstrategies.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2008/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
