Server maintenance

  So yeah, sometimes when I try to trash my posts, there’s a message like this:
  The server is going through a few minutes of routine maintenance. Please don’t touch your browser for a few minutes.

  What do I do?

  If you were posting a comment or making a post on your blog then do not press BACK on your browser. Wait 5 minutes and press the refresh icon on your browser. Your comment or post will be sent as normal.
  If you are browsing a blog here just wait a few moments and hit refresh. The page you were expecting will appear.

  ANd sometimes when I publish my posts it’s loading slow.

  You do exactly what the message states. You touch nothing and wait for 5 minutes like it says.

  The Chicago Data Center has had some problems today – the latest update is that things should be back to normal

  We are currently experiencing a network outage in our Chicago data center. As a result, some sites might be slower than normal or return errors. We are working on routing traffic around the failed data center as well as working to bring the facility back online. Once we have more information, we will post it here.

  Our Chicago facility continues to experience network problems, but we have re-reouted the majority of the traffic to our other facilities, so things should be returning to normal. As the re-routes continue, things may be a bit slower than normal for some requests.

  The network issue in Chicago has been resolved. We continue to monitor everything to make sure things are stable and once we are sure the problem is not going to return we will begin sending traffic back to Chicago.

  I’m gettin that server status message right as i posted that blogger.com is censoring wordpress.com links :(

  Wait it out. Occasionally there are hiccups. Don’t move that particular browser window (though you can open other tabs and move around in them if you want) and after five or so minutes try again.
