Server maintenance error msg, did post email notices fail to deploy to readers?

  While posting to my blog tonight, I hit the publish button, and then unexpectedly received a message about server maintenance. It instructed me to not hit the back button, to wait 5 minutes, and then to refresh my browser. Waited enough time, refreshed, and got the server maintenance message again. I then waited more time, hit refresh and eventually it published. HOWEVER, I never received an email that my post was published, and I always do receive those email noticiations. Is it possible that the server problem resulted in my readers also not receiving their email notifications about this post?   Yes, it is possible. Try setting the post to Private then publishing it again.

  Many thanks! I did that, and it indeed fired off the usual email to me. We’ll see in the AM if that pushed out the email to other subscribers. Thanks again!
