server not found

Hi,
I registered at wordpress with a normal account and bought the premium rate afterwards. Since I do have the option to change my domain into another one without “wordpress” affix I changed my domain from “whoreadswho.wordpress.com” to “whoreadswho.com”.
This basically worked, but now I can´t find the site in the internet anymore: SERVER CAN`T BE FOUND.
How can I solve the problem as fast as possible?

Hi there. GoDaddy.com shows the domain whoreadswho
.com is still available to register, so you don’t own that domain yet.You’ll need to follow the instructions here to register that domain before your WordPress.com site will appear at it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/register-domain/

Hi, thanks for your quick reply! I tried to follow the instructions, everything worked well till the registration was concluded > then I got the message: THE DOMAIN NAME YOU ENTERED IS ALREADY MAPPED TO A WORDPRESS.COM BLOG
I suppose it´s my blog itself, since the status shows it´s mapped and wordpress proposed this option before, so I´ve chosen it.
Do you have another idea what the problem could be?

I’ll tag this thread for staff to follow up. I’m guessing they’ll need to cancel the mapping first to allow you to register that domain. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting.
