Hello @jasonleung11! I’ll be happy to assist you with this.
I checked your account and noticed that the issue you’re experiencing is because your domain geekcomputer.ca isn’t connected to your WordPress.com site. To fix this, you’ll need to connect your domain correctly by following this guide:https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
Please feel free to follow these steps, and if you have any questions or need a bit more help, just let us know—we’re here and happy to assist you further.

thanks for replying. So I have a lack of service w/ my current provider. As such, I just request a domain transfer to another service provider called whc.ca
say they get it done in the next few days. Do I still follow the above link you provided or do I contact my new service provider whc.ca?

Thanks for letting us know, @jasonleung11! When you move your domain to another provider, you’ll still need to connect it to your WordPress site. You can follow the steps in this guide:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
This makes sure your domain points to your WordPress.com site, so visitors can reach it once it’s connected.
Also, I just wanted to mention that since you’re on a paid plan, you have the option to contact us directly from your dashboard. Feel free to follow this guide for more details:https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/#how-to-contact-us
If you’d prefer, you can also email us at help@wordpress.com, and we’d be happy to assist you privately from there.

- so I go thru the above link, and still have the following question:
on the domain page, I have:
geekcomputer.ca as “Connected domain”
and geekcomputer1.wordpress.com as “Default site domain”, which of these 2 should I set it as “Make primary site address”?
2) under SSL, at geekcomputer.ca, it says “Pending”, and at geekcomputer1.wordpress.com, it says Active. Shouldn’t they both says Active?
3) does your co. have telephone support phone no.?
-
update: I have since fixed the above problem. Eventhough the SSL still says Pending.
also, is there any telephone support for paid user? -
Hi @jasonleung11,
Thank you for the update! It’s great to see that you were able to resolve this.
I can also confirm that the SSL certificate is active now.
You also asked about phone support. We don’t currently offer phone support, as sharing and accessing links is much easier to do through written forms of communication. That said, since you’re on a paid plan, you can reach out to us directly for support if you’d like, as explained here: https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/#how-to-contact-us.
Please let us know if you have any more questions!

That error usually points to a DNS or domain issue rather than WordPress itself. Try checking if your domain’s nameservers are still pointing to WordPress.com. You can also clear your DNS cache or use a different browser to confirm. WordPress.com is definitely still active, so it’s likely a configuration issue on the domain side.
