Server Overload

    Hi guys,
I designed and developed a wordpress site for a client – over a year ago. i’m not an expert programmer, however i managed to tweak and alter the scripts in wordpress and plugins required, to complete the site.

the site is now hosted on a 4th webhost, coz every damn host either suspends his a/c or kicks him out, giving almost similar reason, everytime:

    WEBHOST #1
We were forced to suspend your domain due to excessive load. Here is a snapshot of the activity:

    chubbyhu 22041 7.5 0.3 24844 14540 ? RN 10:07 0:00 /usr/bin/php index.php
    chubbyhu 19102 14.0 0.3 24868 14488 ? RN 10:07 0:00 /usr/bin/php index.php
    chubbyhu 4413 5.0 0.1 17504 7020 ? RN 10:07 0:00 /usr/bin/php index.php
    chubbyhu 29890 24.0 0.0 0 0 ? ZN 10:07 0:00 [php]
    chubbyhu 310 24.0 0.3 26376 16024 ? RN 10:07 0:00 /usr/bin/php index.php
    chubbyhu 26552 15.0 0.3 24868 14496 ? RN 10:07 0:00 /usr/bin/php index.php
    chubbyhu 3373 0.0 0.1 18032 7508 ? RN 10:07 0:00 /usr/bin/php index.php

    Load prior to suspension:
    load average: 37.71, 25.97, 19.15

    After suspension:
    load average: 1.49, 7.27, 14.61

    WEBHOST #2
“Your account was causing high load on the server which affected the services and other accounts on the server.Due to this reasons the account was suspended. We have currently unsuspended the account, please check if there are any vulnerable scripts under your account and if there is any PHP application installed, please upgrade it to the latest version.”

    Anyone encountered a similar problem?

I am at my wits end now, as there was nothing else wrong with the site/scripts, except these complaints from webhost companies refusing to host his site, claiming server overload.

    PLEASE HELP. THANKS A MIL.

I think you’ll need to ask over at http://wordpress.org/support/ as it sounds like your client is using the WordPress.org software. We’re hosted here on WP.com and won’t be able to answer your question.
