? server problem

I have been having problems trying to publish a change to my blog for the last 12 hours.
Am simply trying to embed a youtube video link and have done it before with no problems. Sometimes when I select ‘update’ the little circle turns, sometimes it doesn’t. Eventually I receive the ‘Goshdarnit, something has gone wrong with our servers’ message and am asked to try later.
However, when I exit and then check the page from new the link is there on the page but is just the video’s url in text format – not the usual video screen appearance which I expect to be shown. I have made sure the url is unlinked.
Somehow I doubt it is anything to do with WP servers. Any thoughts ?
Incidentally, if I access my blog using IE the update circle never turns but if I use Google Chrome it does turn. Weird!!

If you are getting the wheel I am pretty sure that this means that it is a problem with the youtube servers (or you are behind a firewall) rather than the wordpress ones.

Update from original poster: I have eventually solved the problem by going into the html tab as opposed to the visual one. Not what I did before but at least it worked.
