Services Permalink/Slug
-
Hi,
My site has different ‘catergories’ to set up the full permalink/slug, like Posts, Categories, Team, Testimonials, Services etc.
All these ‘categories’ and their ‘pages’ are can’t be seen under the Pages option on WordPress. Hence I can’t set up their slug like I wan’t to.
Example:
I now have 4 services:
A B C and D
The full URL would be website.com/services/A
I would like to change the ‘services’ part in the URL but am unable to find how.
For exampleL
website.com/options/AWould someone have a fix?
Cheers,
Nino

Hi there!
To change the structure of permalinks here on WordPress.com you will need to have a Business Plan or higher. I’m not quite sure if you can use the category tag in the Custom Structure, but if you are already using “services” as a category then you may be already doing this.
You can read about custom permalinks here: https://wordpress.com/support/permalinks-and-slugs/#changing-the-permalink-structureFrom the example, I understand that you want to change the “services” category, and rename it “options”. You should be able to follow these steps and just edit the category name: https://wordpress.com/support/permalinks-and-slugs/#categories-amp-tags
Alternatively, you could go into the pages, create the new category and assign the page to it.Keep in mind that these instructions are for sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com and they may not be the same for other sites with a WordPress installation hosted elsewhere. Check the differences here: https://wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You can share the site you need help with, and we can tell you which version of WordPress you are using.Hope this helped.
