Set a clean favicon

  Is there a way to set a clean favicon? I have tried uploading my Blog Picture/Icon which at least set the favicon to be something other than the WordPress icon, but the quality is not great. I image that is because it is resizing the image. But if I were to create a clean image at 16×16, could I upload it and maybe reference it in the CSS for the favicon or something like that? I have no idea how favicons usually work. Thanks in advance!

  The favicon on WordPress.com is not a true icon file. You should upload a PNG graphic any size up to 512 x 512 pixels that scales well down to 16 x 16 pixels.

  You can’t change out the favicon with CSS.
