Set as Administrator but can’t Delete Posts, Comments, Pages
-
I just started my blog and did a test page and comment and I can’t delete them. I’m set as the administrator, but I get a flashing red box and it says “You don’t have permission to do that” when I try to delete a post, page or comment. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Best bet would be to send in a feedback at the upper right of any of your admin pages and ask staff to review this issue. It comes up on occasion. Please give specifics as to what exactly you are doing as well as your browser, browser version and OS.
Hope this helps,

I submitted my problem via the Feedback button. How long does it usually take to hear back from someone? Thank you!

Depends on the issue actually and how backed up they are. Anywhere from 5 minutes to a couple hours. We usually suggest giving it 24 hours though. I’d try again in a couple though. Make sure you clear your browser and cookie cache though to make sure you’re getting the latest from teh site.

I’m backed up for a couple of hours.
This is 99% a cookie problem.
What browser are you using? -

I deleted my cookies, cache, etc. and tried again to add a new category. Still no luck. The message says “You don’t have permission to do that”, but I’m set as the administrator. I’m assuming I still can’t delete pages, posts or comments. I’m using Windows XP with Internet Explorer 6.0.
