Set Featured Image as Custom Header for a Specific Page
-
I am new to WordPress. I operate on a Mac Book Pro/Mac OS X 10.6.7
I use Lynda.com as a learning tool for many of the functions and customizations in WordPress.
I am currently using the Twenty Ten theme. I wanted to have each Page with its own custom image. I followed the steps to use a featured image as a custom header exactly, there aren’t that many steps. It worked for a couple of images then stopped working. The featured image was there on the specific Pages edit box below right. But after I updated the page the original image that I wanted to replace is still stuck there. I even logged out and back in few times. Why would these steps stop functioning? I cleared out all of my Library images. I cleared browsing data on my browser. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
My steps
Pages>Select the Page I want>Edit>Set Featured Image>Upload from my computer>Set As Featured Image>Save Changes>New photo appears in bottom lower right>Update>Wait for the change to complete>View Page>
I get the same original image. Help. Mystified. Why would it work a couple of time but then stop working? Am I missing something? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
