Set featured image on posts page does not show

  I want to set a featured image on my blog page. On my home page I do not care, I have one set pic. I was able to do in my “about me page” and in 2 of my posts. When setting the featured image on my blog page it does not show in the end. What am I doing wrong?

  You cannot change the HEADER for every blog post on the Twenty Eleven theme. A header is not a featured image, either. Here are the documents about that theme: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyeleven/

  A suitably sized featured image replaces the regular header image on single posts and static pages. Your blog page isn’t a static page, it’s a dynamic page, so it can only display the regular header image (the one you set in Appearance > Header).

  super thanks folks. Got it!
  What I experience though with the header in the admin view on the ipadd is that I cannot crop it. It gets stuck, I cannot move the area I like.
  I think with a previous version I was able to do all in the app itself without going to the external internet site (or however you would call it)
