Set Featured Image won't show up

I am working in template 2011. When I try to set the featured image it does not show up. I checked the image size and it is within the set parameters. I cannot set featured images on any of my pages and am very frustrated. I do not know how to read code so please make your answers dummy-proof.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and if that’s the site you need help with then this is the correct forum for your software http://wordpress.ORG/support/ If you have not registered a WordPress.org username account yet you can do so on the top right hand corner of the page I just linked to so you can post to those support forums.
