Set header to appear ABOVE featured imaged, not overlayed
-
Hi, my header image keeps appearing on top of the featured image for every blog post that I write. I’m not sure how to resolve this as I’d like the header image to appear above the featured image, or potentially not appear at all.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I’ve called for staff attention to the topic. Staff will respond here.
Staff:
I misunderstood the request at first, and added the irrelevant tags “move title” and “hide title” to the sidebar. Instead, the request seems to be to hide the Site Logo on single posts. I don’t find any way to selectively display the site logo, so I presume that, if possible, this would require CSS customization.

Hi there,
That’s not a header image. It’s your site logo. And the way it appears on single posts like https://safinosol.home.blog/2018/11/27/how-to-deal-with-rejection-my-story-advice/ is how your theme is designed – on single posts the featured image is set as the custom header for that post, and the site logo and site title, display over it.
You can see the same thing on the theme’s demo page, here:
(There the site title is also displayed, and we have the Social Links menu enabled on that demo site.)
The only way to prevent the logo from showing there on single posts is to hide it using custom CSS, but you need to be on our Premium or Business Plan to do that.

As an aside, I notice you don’t have a site title and tagline set at all. Not setting those can have a negative impact on how search engines list your site, so please consider setting them at My Site ->Customize ->Site Identity. There’s a checkbox you can uncheck to have the title not actually display on your site, but then it will at least still be visible to search engines in your site’s HTML header.
