Set link of portfolio items to external link

  I want to use the [portfolio] shortcode to embed a portfolio into part of my site. When a portfolio item is then clicked it open the portfolio item page. I would rather than link to the external website I am presenting in the portfolio and not the portfolio item page.

  Hi there,

  There isn’t any way for those links to be customized so that you can direct users to a third party site. The best that you would be able to do is to maybe create a screenshot of the sites, create a blurb about each project, and then provide a link.

  I wonder if there are any other portfolio plugins with that type of functionality. I don’t want to force people to to have to click twice to visit a page… kind of seems unnecessary.
