Set location helps for SEO? or not at all?

    Hi, I would like to know if “SET LOCATION” helps with SEO for my local comunity in all areas of my city Lima and country Perú? Or it dosent help for SEO at all?

    If “SET LOCATION” dosent help at all for SEO, what plugin do you recomend me get to appear high in google searchs results for my local comunity. I have a wordpress.com site.

    (We are a fashion accesories online shop and we dont have a fisical store yet. We only have our online shop with prestashop and our blog at wordpress.com: http://www.plumshoponline.wordpress.com. We are using set location to map our administrative office but only becuse we want to rank high on google for our local comunity. So if “SET location” dosent help for SEO we rather dont use it. Please let me know!
