Set modern dashboard as default

  I am new to WordPress and I like the modern dashboard, the classic one is too complicated for me. Yet often when I click a link within dashboard, it somehow switches to the classic one and I have a hard time finding out how to switch back to the modern one.

  Is there anywhere in settings where one can choose which dashboard they prefer? I would like to officially accept the new modern dashboard and not get confused anymore when wordpress suddenly swithces back to classic dashboard.

  Hi there,

  I am so glad to hear that you enjoy our new dashboard! We’ve been working on it for quite a while and it’s always nice to hear when someone enjoys it.

  In regard to your request, the sad part is that we aren’t quite finished with the new dashboard quite yet. The reason you sometimes find yourself over in our original dashboard is that we are still building out the newer one to cover every single item within our system. As soon as they’re done (and we’re sure they’re stable of course!) we roll them out so that folks have a more complete and consistent experience.

  You’re going to see more and more pages go live over the next few weeks. If you’ll be patient with us, I think you’ll be pleased!
