Set MX Records

  Hello,

  I set up this blog:
  badavatar.wordpress.com

  then I purchased the domain
  http://badavatar.tv

  thru GoDaddy
  then I pointed the domain name servers to wordpress
  then I bought custom URL support from you

  All good so far! :)

  I also want email using the badavatar.tv domain

  As far as I know, wordpress.com doesn’t offer email.

  GoDaddy does, but they need my MX records pointing back to them — since I pointed the DNS over here to you.

  They need the MX Records set to:
  Priority 10: mailstore1.secureserver.net
  Priority 0: smtp.secureserver.net

  1. Is there a place for me to do that myself?
  2. Can you do that for me?
  3. Am I correct that WordPress.com doesn’t offer email? (hence I do need 1/2 above)

  You can set the MX records via your Custom DNS panel: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/

  However, we can’t support all email configurations, so you may need to use Google Apps for Domains: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/
