Set site to Private

Everywhere I see talk about setting a site to private by going to Dashboard>Settings>Privacy and selecting one of the three options. However, when I got there, I am asked which page I want to say should be my ‘Privacy Policy’ page.

    Where is the disconnect?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi There

Dashboard>Settings>Privacy and selecting one of the three options. However, when I got there, I am asked which page I want to say should be my ‘Privacy Policy’ page.

It looks like you are referring to a self-hosted WordPress website Because in WordPress.COM we don’t have any such option in “Privacy” Section.

I am attaching a screenshot here for your reference

Privacy Policy page option is only available in self-hosted WordPress site.

For support related to self-hosted WordPress site is available at WordPress.org Forum:
    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

You can read more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

However, If you want to set your WordPress.Com site Private then here are the instructions you need:

    Hope this helps.

Let me know if you have any questions further.
