set thumbnail images for post in Cubic theme

  I just changed my blog theme from Pilcrow to Cubic. It easily transferred my years of posts to Cubic, but none of the posts now shown in the homepage grid have thumbnail images. How do I add those? My site is hhpnews.wordpress.com.
