Set timezone
-
My blog comments show the time one hour earlier than my time zone. I do not see how to set the timezone in my account settings.

Hi wayneswhirld!
The only thing that I can think of for timezone settings can be found in the WordPress General Settings. Here you can select a city that is geographically close to you as a means of setting up your timezone. This should allow the time on your blog posts to display properly.
Hope this helps!

Thank you, but…
When I click on the link General Settings, it goes to My site and says, You don’t have any WordPress sites yet. Would you like to start one?
For my Account Settings page, it lists fields with: username, email address, primary site, web address, interface language.
Other profile options on the Accounts Settings page: Manage Purchases, Security, Notifications, Get Apps, Help
Apparently nowhere here can a city timezone be set.

Interesting…
Is the account that you’re commenting from now the same account that you use to blog?
The only thing I can think of, off the top of my head, is that you may have your website on a separate account. Your profile page doesn’t seem to indicate that you have a website associated with this account either.
Let me know if this helps!

I believe it is. One the blog I’m signed in with all the settings info matches…no timezone option…oh well.

@wayneswhirld – You need to be in your site’s WP Classic Admin>Settings>General in order to change the timezone for your site. Add this to the end of your WordPressdotcom site URL
/wp-admin/options-general.php
