  hi , i manage a domain http://www.biocool.ie. i will be transferring it over to wordpress in due course. but first I want to get the template / test site ready and set up in wordpress before making it live. what option should I choose within my WP account to set up a template / test site?

  To start a new site you can use this support document to get going,
  Start a New Blog

  Also, here is a link to Video Tutorials to help you with setting up your site.
  I already see a test site biocoolie.wordpress.com. within your account, you can even start setting it up using the video tutorials.
  You can then just Map Your Domain to the site when you would like to get your domain http://www.biocool.ie to WordPress.com
