Set up

  When I went on my site today and checked the stats there is a box at the top of the page asking me to upload a site icon and other things, it says set up is 43% complete. What is this? I have been blogging for about 18 months. Can this be removed?

  I’ve been here for ten years and am being told the same thing. It’s another new WordPress.com “feature” that will be met with mixed reviews. This thread about the same issue https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/upload-a-site-icon-obstructs-stat-view/ has been tagged for a response from a member of staff.
