    Hi, I would like to Set Up a Custom Email Address without using the professional email service as it mentions on the website https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/

    Perhaps this is not available in the UK, please confirm?

    Hi there!

    The “Custom Email Address” section you’re referring to on that page says the following:

    Navigate to Upgrades → Emails to view and set up an email solution.

    We have two email solutions:

    1. Professional Email
    2. Google Workspace

    If you don’t want to pay for either of those, the third option is to set up email forwarding, which lets you set up custom addresses where you can receive emails (but can’t send from those addresses). It doesn’t give you a mailbox. It will simply forward incoming emails to your existing email address.
