Set up a new free blog on my free WordPress site
-
I have a free wordpress site. I have a current blog on it and several others I thought I might use but haven’t. I’d like to set up a new one I have plans for but I haven’t been able to do it. I keep winding up on the page that offers me various versions of the name/url for the site with a free year on a paid plan. Can I set up a new free blog? Not a new page on the old blog. How?
I’ve also tried renaming one of the others but when it renames it doesn’t change the url — just keeps the old one from the old unused blog.
Please advise.

Hello queentimely!
New year, new blog!
Since you don’t mind repurposing a blog you already own. Check out this instructions here on how to change the URL: https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/
You can then change the Blog Title, Theme, and any other customizations! -

You can easily set up a new free blog. The free option might entail scrolling down the page past the options of paid domains.
-
- Log in to your wordpress account
2. In your dashboard , go to the left hand menu and click on site > Add New post
3. A new Post editor will open . Here you can write your blog post , add images and it as needed .
4. once done , click publish to make your blog post live
5 . You can also go to the pages , if you want to create a new page for your blog rather than a post
